Youth Empowerment Association opens a call for 3 Macedonian youth workers for the training course “Youth work lab: using digital youth work and virtual reality in daily work of a youth center” taking place in Elektrenai, Lithuania from 28th of November to 7th of December 2019.
This project consists of a 7 day international training course based on the principles of non-formal education, balancing the program between interactive methods and various inputs from trainers, experience sharing sessions among participants and multi-level reflections. Moreover, it will devote a lot of time for exploring the digital world through virtual and augmented reality in order for the participants to truly explore this new “world”. Throughout this process, various online tools will be used for reflection, documenting training process, while implementing visibility and dissemination activities.
During the project, the participants will get to know how to integrate digital technologies into their activities with youngsters through learning from good practices where this method has been successfully implemented. Furthermore, this training aims to work on raising the awareness about the impact of digitization in our society and more importantly, the impact on youth work practices and young people’s behavior by equipping the participants with practical tools for digital youth work which could be used in future Erasmus + projects.
All expenses during the project are covered by the Erasmus+ programme (accommodation, food). Travel costs will be reimbursed up to 275€. For any additional questions contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
