Youth Empowerment Association opens a call for 5 Macedonian participant for the Erasmus+ youth exchange “Bullying from reality to virtual and back” taking place in Busteni, Romania from 26th of February to 7th of March 2020.
This project will focus on the widespread of bullying of the youngsters, consisted of false news, rumors, intimidation, physical aggression and digital violence, leading to negative physical, emotional and social effects. Analysis showed that centralized methods and programs applied by ministries and centralized institutions do not deliver the expected results, while bigger efficiency is reported by non-formal education tools (prevention campaigns, films, theater) carried out by young people directly involved in bullying situations. Through this project we aim to empower young people to prevent bullying and to increase the degree of intervention as victims, witnesses and aggressors to limit the spread of hatred and discrimination of any kind.
