The training course “Youth work lab using digital youth work and virtual reality in daily work of a youth center” took place in Elektrenai, Lithuania, in which Aleksandra, Marko and Petrina participated as representatives of our organization.

Together with another 30 youth workers from Europe, they gained knowledge of new technological devices and digital skills, as well as methods to use in their work with young people. The days were filled with activities where every participant had the opportunity to learn a lot of useful information on digitalization, to have fun and simply enjoy the untouched nature of Lithuania.

The participants got acquainted with the business models used by software developers and had the opportunity to see and apply the knowledge they gained about “chat bots”. One of the highlights so far was the activity where participants used virtual reality, but they managed to cover fake news and its political influence.

Participating in international projects is a wonderful experience that every young person should have in their life because they learn many useful and practical skills and additionally, they get to know new cultures and people with whom long-lasting friendships can be built.
