From 2nd to 8th of December 2019 in the sunny Alicante, Spain, the training course “Soft skills for hard youth workers” took place. Our participants Gjorgji and Stefan participated on the project in order to upgrade their skills in the field of youth work.

During the week full of activities, they acquired interpersonal skills that enable people to function better in the dynamic 21st century.
Through practical exercises, different communication channels and multiple non-formal methods, the participants improved their communication and organizational skills. Because of each country’s different competences with distinctive intensity, this seminar allowed the participants to learn how to deal with all sorts of unpredictable scenarios in their personal and professional lives. They learned that divergent cultures and opinions are a key factor for advancing soft skills.

Gjorgji and Stefan prepared activities which will increase the knowledge of young people for soft skills. Additionally, the dynamics of the presentations and the other participants allowed harnessing the creative potential of each individual.
